Short-term - privately funded

Home from hospital service

The HFH service is a short term intervention to help you or your loved one get back on their feet and in most cases this in 7 – 14 days, our team will show you how to carryout tasks with / without equipment demonstrating techniques that will allow you a return to independence.

Short-term - privately funded

Key aspects of short-term, privately funded care at home:

Flexibility:

Care can be provided for a short period, ranging from a few weeks to a few months, or even just a few hours a week.

Cost:

The cost varies depending on the care provider, location, and the level of care needed, but hourly rates generally range from £24 to £30.

Types of Care:

This can include personal care (dressing, bathing, mobility), meal preparation, light housework, companionship, and medication reminders.

Needs Assessment:

If you know what support you need, then a short call or email to our office to arrange an assessment visit to discuss your needs and wishes is an ideal place to start. Alternatively the local council can conduct a needs assessment to determine the specific care needs of an individual, even if they are self-funding. However be aware that this could take some time to arrange due to waiting times.
